L. Ann Jackson

L. Ann Jackson is a writer, historian, and Sensitivity Reader currently living in her hometown of San Francisco. She holds an BA in English and an MFA in Creative Writing. L. Ann enjoys writing fiction, nonfiction, and memoir about the rich history of African Americans of the Second Great Migration who settled in San Francisco. She is a San Francisco Arts Commission Emerging Writers awardee and a Muses & Melanin Fellowship recipient.
