Godspower Oboido

Godspower Oboido is a Nigerian poet, playwright, writer and social entrepreneur whose style is greatly influenced by classical literature as much as it is by the buzz of modern society. He was a finalist in the Future Nigeria Awards, 2010, where he was among 100 of the best and brightest Nigerians under thirty. Godspower Oboido’s works have been published in The Istanbul Review, Saraba Magazine, Nathaniel Turner and elsewhere. His first poetry collection, Songs of a Chicken Bone, is due out in early 2014.
